A Zen Koan.
A student came to his teacher — “I want to learn & become enlightened. Please teach me.”
The teacher asked — “Have you eaten your porridge?”
The student replied — “I have eaten”
The teacher said — “Then you better go wash your bowl.”
At that moment the student was enlightened
