100% right you are. though if if one claims to desire truth then all disillusionment is beneficial no matter how painful. on the other hand if awakening has found you instead of you it, I can only imagine what a destabilizing ride that can become.

"Blessed are the ignorant".

Some days I envy them. For a short moment. Then I meditate on it, and realize I'm okay being me. It's all okay. We all have our crosses to carry.

the crosses we cary are blessings in disguise. I for one would not improve and suffer less if I didn’t suffer a lot to begin with. thing is, as you say, the ignorant are ignorant of their own suffering. or at least its nature anyway

🔥🔥🔥 THIS: “Real insight rarely gives you a clean upgrade. It doesn’t turn you into a calmer, wiser, or more efficient version of yourself — someone who suddenly has everything figured out. It’s not going to turn you into a sage.”

Wise words, when structure falls it lets way for newness to come in. However, I can tell that I have this sort of escapist fantasy of “awakening” but no matter how hard I try to make it happen, I realize that integration is more valuable than ascension.

Brilliant take on the myth of 'clean' awakenings. That in-between state where nothign feels wrong enough to leave but everything feels slightly off is such a unique kind of discomfort. I've found the hardest part isn't the destabilization itself, but explaining to others why everything looks fine from the outside yet feels fundamentaly misaligned inside.

Holy cow this is EXACTLY how I feel right now! I have never felt more lost in my 57 years. It’s as if I’m adrift at sea.

This tracks with my experience. If truly seeking, I have to set aside that which I think I know and step into mystery.
